Friday 12th December 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

Please see the information below about our last four days before the Christmas Holidays.

Our last day of term is Thursday 18th December with our usual pick-up times.

EYFS & KS1 Party Day - Tuesday 16th December

Children may come to school in their Christmas party clothes.

For lunch, the children will be eating in the hall with the children from Year 1 and 2, listening to party music.

If your child has hot lunch, this will be normal.

If your child has a lunch box, they can bring lots of party food/treat food in their lunch box instead. Eg. Sausage rolls, party rings, crisps, a cupcake etc.

In the afternoon the children will be having a disco in the hall!

Year 3, 4 and 5 Party Day - Wednesday 17th December

Children may come to school in their Christmas party clothes.

The day will be filled with games, dancing, Christmas crafts, and movies.

Hot lunches will run as normal. Children are welcome to bring a party treat for after lunch (cakes, sweets, chocolate, popcorn).

Packed-lunch children are welcome to bring a party-style lunchbox, which may also include a treat (no nuts, please).

EYFS & KS1 Hygge Day! - Wednesday 17th December

To celebrate the end of the first full term in Nursery, Reception and KS1, we are going to be learning about 'Hygge', a Scandinavian concept of ‘coziness and contentment that stems from enjoying life’s simple pleasures’.

The children may come to school in their pyjamas, slippers, dressing gowns, onesies etc.

As part of the day, the children will be enjoying hot chocolate, whippy cream and marshmallows as we watch ‘The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse’.

Whole School Christmas Lunch - Thursday 18th December

We will end the term with a whole-school Christmas lunch in the hall.

Hot lunch orders will remain as normal, with our special festive menu.

Children bringing packed lunches may bring party-style food if they wish.

The children will enjoy Christmas music and party crackers—a lovely way for us to celebrate together as a school community.

Please send your child to school in full school uniform for the last day of term.
