Welcome Back!

Dear Parents and Carers,

Happy New Year and welcome back to another exciting term. We hope you all enjoyed a restful and joyful holiday break and the storm has not had too much impact on you. The start of a new year is always a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our achievements and set fresh goals for the months ahead.

We are committed to keeping you informed about your child’s learning and progress throughout the year:

  • Curriculum newsletters for this term are available here, and class teachers will also share these with you along with any dates for trips.
  • Parent-Teacher Meetings will take place in February, providing an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress in detail.

  • At the end of this term, we will host an Open Afternoon, where you can come into school and share in your child’s learning journey.

In an effort to streamline communication from the office, we will continue to send out a weekly update every Friday. This will include key dates, news, events, and important messages. Our aim is to reduce the number of separate communications during the week and provide you with a consistent, routine update.

If there is anything you are unsure of or would like to discuss, please do get in touch with us. We always welcome parents into school to meet with us or catch up.

Thank you for your continued support in making our school a vibrant and nurturing community. Together, we can ensure that every child feels valued, inspired, and ready to succeed.

Here’s to a fantastic start to 2026!

Warm regards,
Claire Hammond
Headteacher

Your child should have come home with their commemorative school caps this week.

Please ensure your child's name is clearly written inside the cap. These caps are a one-off commemorative print and cannot be purchased from shops or replaced if lost.

As we do not have a lost property box, unnamed items that are misplaced may not be able to be returned.
