KS2 Spring Showcase

Friday 27th March

We are excited to invite our Key Stage 2 families and carers to join us in celebrating music, dance and drama at our Spring Showcase.

There will also be performances from Key Stage 1 Musical Theatre Club and Key Stage 1 Choir members, so the invitation is also extended to the families of the children involved.

Performance dates:

Thursday 26th March 1:30pm-2:30pm - Our EYFS and KS1 children and staff will watch our final rehearsal. (No families at the time)

Friday 27th March 2:00pm - 3:00pm - All KS2 families and KS1 Musical Theatre and choir families are invited to watch the performance.

Parking will be available at the Glass Church.

Summer Uniform

As we move towards the end of this term, we would like to offer a gentle reminder about our school uniform expectations.

Bel Royal Primary School – Uniform

Please ensure that children wear trainers only on their PE days, and not as everyday school shoes. Thank you for helping us maintain our uniform standards – we really appreciate your support.

With the warmer weather on the way, you may be thinking about a summer uniform. To make things easier, we will have our pre-loved clothes rail in the foyer next week, stocked with summer dresses and shorts.

Swimarathon Wednesday 25th March

Some of our Year 5 and Year 6 children will be taking part in the Swimarathon next week, and we are delighted to share that, once again, we will be entering a staff team to represent Bel Royal school.

If you would like to support this fantastic cause, please use the QR code or link below to make a donation.

Thank you for your support.

Seeds and Plants requests from Miss Lamb

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are currently preparing our school vegetable patches ready for the spring and summer months. As part of our outdoor learning and science learning, the children will be planting, caring for, and harvesting a range of fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs.

We would be very grateful for any donations of fruit, vegetable, flower or herb seeds. If you have already started gardening at home, we would also greatly appreciate any small seedlings you may be able to spare.

In addition, if you have any established plants that need dividing, spare plants, or healthy cuttings that could be replanted in our garden, we would love to give them a new home in school.

Our aim is to build a varied and productive garden space and create a seed journal that the children can access independently during outdoor learning. This will allow them to choose what to plant, record their observations, and take ownership of their growing projects.

If you are able to contribute, please send any donations into school over the coming weeks to Miss Lamb

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Kind regards,

Miss Lamb
