Jersey Contemporary Musician Competition 2026
The Jersey Contemporary Musician Competition is part of Jersey Music Service’s provision of opportunities for young musicians in Jersey and provides early performance and competition opportunities.
The competition welcomes applications from guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, drums, and singing competitors of a Grade 4 level and above.
Competition Dates and Venues
The Jersey Contemporary Musician Competition Heats will take place over the week of Monday 18th May - Friday 21st May at Jersey Music Service, Highlands Campus.
The Jersey Contemporary Musician Competition Final will take place on Saturday 13th June in the Theatre at Haute Vallée School.

In order to enter the competition, please:
- Ensure you have the support of your child's instrumental / singing teacher or Head of Music. Where entrants are school leavers or home educated, advice can be sought from Jersey Music Service.
- Complete the entry form no later than Thursday 30th April 2026. Please note that programme details will be required on the entry form.
- Please make your £15.00 entry fee payment using the payment link displayed at the end of the entry form.
- Please note that competitors must provide copies of all music to be performed for the adjudicators, as well as backing tracks where relevant, by Thursday 30th April 2026. Please note that clear, scanned copies by email are preferred. Original sheet music must be present in the scheduled rehearsal and during performances.
