Yesterday we shared the news that our Deputy Head Teacher, Mr Mills, will be taking early retirement at the end of this term. He has been a valued member of our school community for seven years and his dedication, leadership, and care for our pupils and staff have made a lasting difference.
One of the many highlights of his time with us has been introducing and leading the Key Stage 2 residentials - an experience that has created lasting memories for both pupils and staff. His enthusiasm, organisation, and commitment to ensuring every child had a positive and enriching experience will be greatly missed.
Mr Mills has also shared a deep love of teaching, especially in the areas of outdoor learning, maths, science, and design & technology. These passions have inspired many of us and brought learning to life in meaningful and engaging ways.
While we are sad to see him leave, we are also incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and passion he has given to our school.
We wish him all the very best for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling retirement.
