Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope you've all had a wonderful week! There is such a wonderful atmosphere around school, and we have all been so impressed with how well the children have settled back to the busy life at Bel Royal!
Welcome!
Welcome to Mrs Parker, who has joined the Bel Royal team. I am sure you will welcome her as you see her in the office (and helping with drop off and pick-ups!).
Curriculum Newsletters
We hope you have received your child’s Curriculum Newsletters and have had the chance to read and understand a little more about the learning opportunities and outcomes planned for this term. These newsletters are intended to provide valuable information for you as parents. If there is anything that is new to you, or you would like us to explain further, please do get in touch.
Parking
Thank you for your support with safe parking following the message earlier in the week. Please also remember not to park in any residential areas around school when picking up children. It is really important that cars do not drive out of school through the top 'in' barrier when leaving the top car park. This makes an unsafe environment and adds to further congestion.
Netball
I am delighted to share that our Year 5 & 6 Netball Club will be starting next Wednesday and will run after school from 3:30pm to 4:15pm.
Whether your child is new to netball or already enjoys playing, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, build confidence, work as part of a team and, most importantly, have fun!
If you would like your child to attend, please email Miss McAllister at d.mcallister@belroyal.sch.je to confirm their place. As places may be limited, a place will only be secured once confirmation has been received.
Explorer Dome
Coming up! Next Wednesday 30th September, Year 4 and 5 will be visiting the Explorer Dome to learn all about space! Explorer Dome is an internationally known, vibrant and popular science outreach organisation.
We are looking forward to interactive, curiosity-based, science shows and experiences within the dome! More information to follow on Seesaw.
Cross Country
Please keep an eye on Seesaw for information from Mr Dolman about the forthcoming Cross Country event for Year 5 and 6.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs Morris
