Before half term we had a special KS2 assembly led by members of the Jersey Coastguard team. The session was both entertaining and informative, giving the children a unique insight into the important work carried out to keep people safe at sea.

The assembly began with an engaging performance that captured the children's attention from the start. This was followed by a fun, interactive game, which encouraged the children to get involved and think about safety. To finish, the children took part in a Q&A session with one of the Coastguard officers, where they asked thoughtful questions and learnt more about the role and responsibilities of the team.

The children thoroughly enjoyed every part of the experience, particularly the lively performance.
