On Wednesday 30th September, Year 4 and 5 (along with some Year 6 pupils) visited St Mary's School to visit the Explorer Dome. The children loved exploring the sun, planets and dwarf planets in our solar system, and finding out what happens to stars at the end of their lives. They even went star-spotting to discover the constellations as they will appear tonight and discovered the stories behind them through the gods and heroes, myths and monsters from Ancient Greece. The children really enjoyed the interactive show and wowed us with their knowledge and fabulous questions!
