Community Walk
Thank you all for your incredible support and generosity during our recent whole-school community walk. We are delighted to share that, thanks to your contributions, we have raised approximately £2,207! These funds will go towards enhancing our KS1 and KS2 outdoor play and learning areas, which will benefit all of our children.
The School Council representatives from EYFS through to Year 6 met in April to discuss how we could enhance our outdoor space to make break and lunchtimes even more enjoyable. The sponsorship money the children raised will be spent on improving our beautiful play areas with activities that all children can enjoy, whether music, reading, sport or exploring nature.
It was wonderful to see so many of you joining the walk alongside your children—it truly was a special day for our school community.
The children had a fantastic time and did exceptionally well. Our Nursery children walked all the way to St Aubin and back with Reception—a brilliant achievement! Meanwhile, some of our Year 4 pupils joined Year 5 and Year 6 on their longer trek to Corbière and back.
Everyone enjoyed a well-earned picnic lunch and playtime on the beach, making it a memorable day for all.
