This week, our school took part in the Safer Internet Day with a series of activities designed to help the children understand how to stay safe online.
On Monday, we had a whole school assembly with our Digital Leaders, who shared important tips about staying safe when using the internet and, in particular, AI.
Children have been learning how to recognise trustworthy websites, protecting personal information and speaking to a trusted adult if something doesn't feel right.
Year 2 and Year 6 welcomed two visitors from the NSPCC as part of the Speak Out, Stay Safe programme. During the session, the children learnt more about how to stay safe both online and offline.
The NSPCC team spoke about recognising safe and unsafe situations, understanding personal boundaries, and knowing who to turn to for help.
